Poem: Mischief and Mayhem

Mischief and Mayhem

Witches and goblins,
Howling black cats,
Monsters and ghouls,
Vampire bats,

A house in the forest
Dreadful and drear,
I’m all alone
Shaking with fear,

Bumps in the closet,
Shivering fright,
Flickering candles
Casting dim light,

Dusty dark rooms,
Creaky old doors,
Cobwebs and spiders,
Cracks in the floor,

Mummies at midnight,
Spine-chilling screams,
Mischief and mayhem,
Dangerous dreams,

Chilling and shocking,
Terrible too,
I hide in my bed
And wait for the....

BOO!
