The Veracity of Truth

Sometimes the truth is

right there,

but then it slips away,

or maybe you just don't want to see it,

and let it slip away,

out of sight,

out of view,

out of mind.

It's said that the truth will set you free

or maybe it will change your mind

about the veracity of a truth you thought you knew

for sure.
