You Knew it was True

The word prejudice was in my head today for no apparent reason and I started thinking about the word and its true meaning.  It simply means to prejudge without knowledge, thought or reason.

Prejudge and the moment might pass
to meet someone,
learn something,
go somewhere,
new.
But you knew that was true
since you were two,
when you walked hand in hand
to some faraway land,
with
imaginary friends
you knew would be true
to you.
